Handcrafted Artwork
Bringing textile artwork in to an interior space has a wealth of benefits. The tactile nature of textiles is comforting and softening in an interiors setting, while many materials have physical benefits - such as wool and it’s air purifying qualities. I accept commissions for bespoke art work, for both domestic and commercial interiors. I can work with you to design and execute a unique artwork for your space, responding to the space, place and local landscape. To find out more, please get in contact with your brief or ideas.
Bespoke Fabric Design
Looking for a unique, heirloom quality fabric for your interiors project? Whether you have a strong idea and colour palette already, or you need some ideas on colours and design direction, I can work with you to crate the perfect design for your space. We can work together to find the ideal materials to work with your scheme, while upholding my brand values of sustainable, low impact textiles. I can supply the finished fabric alone or as a finished homeware item, such as cushion, lampshade or rug.
Case study:
Moss and Moor
A commission for Moss and Moor, a garden and lifestyle centre in Ilkley, Yorkshire. This was a two part commission to create woven wall hangings for the restaurant and other ares of the building. The first wall hanging was a textural reimagining of Moss and Moor’s logo, to create an M shape woven wall hanging. The second was a large triptych, drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape and crafted in a range of British wools.
